We are delighted to launch the individual EU-PERSON country reports today. These reports present the most up-to-date information and research conducted by our partners on the situation for people with disabilities regarding legal capacity law in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo and Turkey. Initial reports on domestic law on legal capacity in each of these countries were prepared in 2013 and these up to date reports reflect developments over the lifetime of the EU-PERSON project regarding reform of guardianship and mental health laws. Collectively we celebrate the achievements of each of the partners in highlighting and advocating for the domestic law reforms necessary to achieve compliance with Article 12 CRPD.
